A rally and discussion meeting was held in Kumarkhali, Kushtia, on the occasion of National Girl Child Day with the theme “I am a girl child, I build dreams, I fight with courage, I work for the welfare of the country”. The meeting was organized by the Upazila Administration and Women’s Affairs Officer’s Office on Wednesday morning at the Upazila Parishad meeting room. Upazila Women’s Affairs Officer Ferdousi Nazneen presided over the program, with Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) SM Mikhail Islam present as the chief guest. Upazila Secondary Education Officer Nazmul Hossain, Assistant Agricultural Extension Officer Kawsar ALi, Kumarkhali Press Club Vice President Zaker ALi Shuva, officials from various departments and students from various schools were present at the time.
