Leaders of Sreepur Upazila BNP distributed leaflets in Sreepur, Gazipur for implementation of the 31-point program announced by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
On Wednesday (October 8) afternoon, leaflets were distributed among the general public at Rajendrapur Bazar in Rajabari Union of the upazila.
The leaflet distribution ceremony was presided over by Dr. Md. Shafiqul Islam, former senior vice-president of Gazipur district BNP and candidate for BNP nomination in Gazipur-3 constituency. Present at the event were Gazipur district BNP convening committee member Shakhawat Hossain Sabuj, former general secretary of Sreepur Upazila BNP Akhtarul Alam Master, former vice-president of Gazipur district BNP Sheikh Abdul Razzak, former vice-president of Gazipur district BNP and former women vice-chairman of Sripur Upazila Parishad Sheikh Farida Jahan Swapna, former organizing secretary of Upazila BNP Nazrul Islam and many others. After the leaflet distribution, former senior vice-president of district BNP Dr. Md. Shafiqul Islam said that the leaflets were distributed with the aim of restoring the rights of the people by implementing the 31-point program to restore democracy in Bangladesh under the leadership of patriot Tarique Rahman.
