Various allegations have been made against Bijan Kanti Dhar, the administrator of Kakoirgora Union Parishad in Durgapur Upazila of the district.
General Secretary of Durgapur Upazila Jubo Odhikar Parishad Md. Ashraful Alam filed a written complaint in this regard at the office of the Deputy Commissioner on Monday morning.
According to the complaint source, various problems have arisen in the Parishad since the administrator of Kakoirgora Union Parishad joined this Parishad.
The common people are not getting services. The common people are deprived of various benefits including birth registration, identity card.
The administrator does not come to the Parishad office on time.
For birth registration and identity card, one has to go to Durgapur by spending 150/- taka. There are many helpless poor families of the Union Parishad, who cannot afford to spend this money.
Every day, children, elderly and pregnant women of the area come to get services but the administrator is not available.
Since the administrator joined, irregularities have been observed in the distribution of VGF rice and BWB, TCB cards, and no visible development has been observed in the TR, Kabika, Kabita work in the union, the complaint states.
The union residents demanded that steps be taken to change the administrator and appoint a suitable new administrator and achieve progress in the office.
