A businessman named Narayan Pal (40) was murdered by unidentified miscreants in his shop at Thana Road (Basundhara More) area of ​​​​Mohanganj Municipality in Netrakona.
The incident took place between 9 pm and 11 pm on Monday.
Narayan Pal is the son of Niro Pal of Raut Para area of ​​​​Mohanganj Municipality. He was running a business called ‘Narayan Store’ at the Thana intersection.
Police and locals said that a customer found the bloody body of Narayan Pal with his throat slit at the Thana intersection of North Daulatpur area of ​​​​Mohanganj Municipality on Monday around 11 pm.
Since the shops in the vicinity were closed at that time, the customer shouted loudly and called people and many people came after hearing his call.
Later, people came and informed the police. The police reached the spot, prepared a report, recovered the body and sent it to the Netrokona Modern Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Mohanganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Aminul Islam said that an investigation is underway, including checking CCTV footage from various nearby establishments, to unravel the mystery of the incident. The case is under process.
