The district’s Upazila and Thana Ansar Basic Training (3rd Phase)-2025 has been inaugurated. On Monday (October 6) at 12 noon, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force, Netrakona organized this basic training at the training center of the District Commandant’s office. District Commandant Mohammad Jinnatul Islam presided over the basic training, and Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Abdullah Al Mahmud Zaman inaugurated the basic training as the chief guest. Among others, Sadar Upazila Ansar and VDP Officer Md. Abu Sayeed, Khaliajuri Upazila Ansar and VDP Officer and Training Adjutant Ajit Kumar Ghosh, etc. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Abdullah Al Mahmud Zaman, as the chief guest, said, the Ansar and Village Defense Force is the largest disciplined force in the country. The members of this force have been performing important duties for the needs of the country, including peace, order, development, and security. As the members of Ansar and VDP played a responsible role like vigilant guards, the largest religious festival of the Hindu community, the autumn Durga Puja, was able to be celebrated without any hindrance in a festive and joyful atmosphere. I hope that the members of Ansar and VDP will play an important role in the next national parliamentary elections after receiving basic training. District Commandant Mohammad Jinnatul Islam said that the members of Ansar and VDP will play a role in carrying out important duties assigned by the government after receiving this basic training. This training will continue until October 18.
