BNP’s Central Fisheries Affairs Secretary and former MP Lutfur Rahman Kajal said State leader Begum Khaleda Zia had taken various steps for the development of women, including free education for girls, stipends, enactment of a law against violence against women, and the Ministry of Women and Children during her tenure in government.

He also said that BNP is a liberal political party of the people of Bangladesh.

It has not come to power for 17 years because it has not had any relations with neighboring India, he said that BNP does not depend on foreigners and wants to come to power through the votes of the people.

People’s leader Lutfur Rahman Kajal also said that the easy way to come forward in the service of the people is politics, leaders and activists should do politics with the mindset of service, they should be by the side of the people in their happiness and sorrow.

He also said that while doing politics, one should be careful not to give rise to fascism.

A party has been involved in various propaganda and conspiracies against BNP in this country after the July Revolution, saying that it was extortion. The leaders and activists must be ready to confront all conspiracies in a united manner.

The meeting respectfully remembered the late Ed. Khalequzzaman, a former MP of BNP, a prominent son of Ramu.

He said this in his speech as the chief guest at the Rashid Nagar Union Women’s Party rally in Ramu Upazila on Saturday afternoon, September 27.
