Jagrato Voluntary Organization” distributes saplings to students in Nakla
The local non-political platform “Jagrato Voluntary Organization” has started distributing more than 500 fruit saplings to students in Nakla upazila of Sherpur district. As part of the initiative, Saplings were handed over to 414 students from 24 educational institutions of Chandrakona Union on Thursday. This program started in the morning and continued till afternoon. A total of 13 government primary schools, 6 Qawmi and Hafezia Madrasas, 3 high schools, 2 Dakhil Madrasas and Chandrakona college students received saplings. The remaining saplings will be distributed to other institutions of the union on Saturday and Sunday. The volunteers of the organization worked in several teams to deliver saplings to all the institutions in a day. At this time, the organization’s president Md Rasel, Vice-Presidents Masud Rana, Tanvir Ahmed, Rifatul Karim, Saeed Ahmed and Rashidul Islam; General Secretary Nazmul Hasan Mondol, Joint Secretaries Ahsan Habib, Atikul, Monir Hossain and Bhuvan; Organizing Secretary Imon, Joint Organizing Secretaries Tanmoy and Salman; Publicity Secretary Sakib Hasan, Religious Affairs Secretary Mohammad Ali Jinnah along with executive members of the organization and local volunteers were present. Local dignitaries, teachers and students also attended the distribution programs. It is worth noting that this non-political organization “Jagrato Voluntary Organization” was established in 2024. The organization has earned appreciation through various developmental and welfare activities dedicated to society, religion, the country and the nation, they added.
