In the monthly welfare meeting of Cox’s Bazar District Police, Maheshkhali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Manjurul Haque was nominated as the district’s best officer-in-charge (OC). Cox’s Bazar District Police Superintendent Md. Saifuddin Shaheen presented him with a crest and cash prize. The welfare meeting began at 10 am on Saturday morning after the Grand Master Parade at the Cox’s Bazar Police Lines Parade Ground. Police members from different units of the district presented their demands, problems and suggestions in the meeting. At the same time, the best police officers were awarded in different categories. Among them, the most talked about recognition was the announcement of the name of Maheshkhali Police Station OC Manjurul Haque as the “Best OC”. It is known that he was nominated as the best in the district based on his overall performance and leadership qualities including law and order maintenance, crime suppression, warrant Tamil, and weapon recovery. The people of Maheshkhali expressed their pride in this achievement and congratulated him on social media. After receiving the award, OC Manjurul Haque said- “This honor is not just mine, it is the fruit of the cooperation of the common people of Maheshkhali and the combined efforts of every member of the police station. I have always given utmost importance to law and order maintenance, crime suppression, and public safety and will continue to do so in the future.” According to the district police administration officials, OC Manjurul Haque has created a positive image in Maheshkhali by working with responsibility, professionalism, and maintaining close relations with the people. His recognition is a big success for the entire Maheshkhali police station.
