With the theme ‘Come, new students, move forward endlessly, endlessly’, the new students of Police Lines School and College, Rangpur were welcomed at Muktangan, Police Lines. The principal of the institution and eminent educationist Professor Dr. K. M. Jalal Uddin Akbar was present as the chief guest and gave a directional speech to the new students. Additional Superintendent of Police, Rangpur (DSB) Mr. Md. Joynal Abedin was present as the special guest and advised the students to become human beings with human values in addition to their studies. In addition, the guardian member of the governing body Md. Rashidus Sultan (Bablu), Vice Principal Administration Mr. A.N.M. Babar Ali, Vice Principal Academic, College Branch Md. Jahangir Alam delivered advisory speeches to the students. The class teachers welcomed the students of the respective branches with fragrant flowers. The new students expressed their feelings at the event. A cultural program was held in the second phase.
