Human chain demanding to keep Bogura city clean and free from traffic jams

A human chain was observed in Satmatha of the city on Saturday demanding effective steps by the relevant authorities to keep the vital Bogura city clean and free from traffic jams.

The voluntary organization “We for the Citizens” observed this program. Under the chairmanship of the organization’s president, Professor Lutfar Rahman, and under the direction of General Secretary Muhammad Abu Musa, the executive member of the Bogra Press Club and senior journalist of Dainik Inkilab, Mohsin Ali Raju, General Secretary of Journalists Union Bogura and senior journalist of 71 Television, SM Abu Sayeed, Mobile Correspondent of Dainik Manabjamin and journalist leader Pratik Omar and many others spoke.

The speakers in the human chain program said that traffic jams are being created in the city every day and constantly due to about 100-200 people occupying some parts of the sidewalks and main roads in the city and doing business.

And thousands of people are facing extreme hardship and suffering.
In addition, garbage is piled up in various places in the city, including Rajabazar Gate, Fateh Ali Mor, Kathaltala, Station Road, Stadium area. In particular, garbage is piled up on the paved road near the railway station adjacent to Rajabazar Gate day and night, and vehicles are also kept like garages. Moreover, mosquitoes and bad smell are spreading due to waterlogging and garbage piling up on the main paved road, Satmatha Saptavadi Market, the heart of the city. Apart from this, there are many other such problems in other parts of the city.

In addition to the problem of traffic congestion, the health of the people of Bogra city is at risk. Therefore, it is demanded that the concerned authorities take urgent effective steps to keep the vital city of Bogura clean and free from traffic congestion.
