A reception and scholarship distribution ceremony was held in Gopalganj-2024 for 146 meritorious students who obtained GPA-5 in SSC and equivalent and HSC and equivalent examinations.
The reception was organized by Gopalganj District Council at 10 am on Thursday (September 11) at the conference room of Gopalganj Municipality.
The Deputy Commissioner and District Council Administrator (Joint Secretary) Muhammad Kamruzzaman was present as the chief guest at the ceremony.

Along with the invited guests, the parents of the meritorious students, teachers and teachers were also present at the reception and scholarship distribution ceremony.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Ruli Biswas was in the chair, with Superintendent of Police Md. Mizanur Rahman, Executive Officer of the District Council Amit Debnath, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) S. M. Tarek Sultan, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer M, Rakibul Hasan, Gopalganj Roads and Highways Department Executive Engineer Mohammad Azharul Islam and District Secondary Education Officer Khondaker Ruhul Amin were present and gave speeches on the future direction of the students.

Later, the chief guest, Deputy Commissioner and District Council Administrator Muhammad Kamruzzaman, along with all the invited guests, presented an attractive table clock, a high-quality bag and a cash gift of one thousand taka in an envelope to 126 students who obtained GPA-5 in the 2024 SSC and equivalent examinations and 20 meritorious students who obtained GPA-5 in the HSC and equivalent examinations.
