A special crime review and welfare meeting of Gopalganj District Police was held in the presence of Dhaka Range DIG. Dhaka Range DIG Rezaul Karim Mallick was present at the special review meeting held at the conference room of the Gopalganj District Police Superintendent’s office on Monday (August 11). The DIG attended the meeting and discussed the overall law and order situation in the district. He instructed everyone to perform every duty with professionalism, responsibility, and dedication. Then a special welfare meeting was held at the drill shed of Gopalganj District Police Lines. At the meeting, the in-charges and members of various units in the district directly raised their problems. In an open atmosphere, the issues were heard with sincerity and the Range DIG immediately directed the concerned officials to take necessary action. The meeting was attended by Gopalganj District Superintendent of Police Md. Mizanur Rahman, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Muhammad Sarwar Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Dr. Md. Ruhul Amin Sarkar, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Muksudpur Circle) Md. Abdul Bashed, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Trainee), Assistant Superintendent of Police (Trainee), Officer-in-Charge of all police stations in Jhela, and other officers and police members. Later, Dhaka Range DIG Rezaul Karim Mallick inaugurated the newly constructed Junior Officers Dormitory Building at Sadar Police Station under the implementation of Gopalganj Public Works Department. Executive Engineer of Gopalganj District Public Works Department, Swarnendu Shekhar Mandal and other engineers and officials were present at the time.
