National and International Youth Day was celebrated through a rally and discussion meeting in Srimangal, Moulvibazar. The rally, organized by the Upazila Administration and Youth Development Department offices, started from the Upazila Parishad premises at 11 am on Tuesday (August 12). After the rally, Upazila Executive Officer Md. Islam Uddin was present as the chief guest at the discussion meeting in the Upazila Parishad hall. The discussion meeting was chaired by Youth Development Officer Asim Kar, and was attended by Mizanur Rahman Alam, President of Non-Governmental Development Organization MCIDA, Md. Abdul Hamid, Executive Director of MAC Bangladesh, and various officials from government departments. The ceremony included a minute of silence in memory of all the martyrs of the July 24 uprising and the distribution of certificates among students trained under the Department of Youth Development. The theme of this year’s National and International Youth Day is “Technology-based Youth Power, Progress in Multilateral Partnerships”,
