Polash Mondol, Sariakandi (Bogura)
A memorial meeting and prayer meeting were held on the occasion of the 6th death anniversary of the founder general secretary of Bogura’s Sariakandi Thana BNP, freedom fighter late ABM Rezaul Karim Matin Mondal. On Monday (August 11) afternoon, the Upazila BNP and its affiliated organizations organized a prayer meeting at the Sariakandi Central Jame Mosque after visiting the family graveyard of the deceased and praying for the forgiveness of his soul. After the prayer meeting, a discussion meeting was held at the Upazila BNP party office in memory of the late ABM Rezaul Karim Matin Mondal. It was presided over by Upazila BNP President Adv. Nur-e Azam Babu. The program was moderated by Sariakandi Sadar Union BNP General Secretary Mahbubul Haque Milon Khalifa. Speaking at the event were Municipal BNP General Secretary Adv. Shariful Islam Hira, Upazila BNP Joint General Secretary Sirajul Islam Phul, Municipal BNP Senior Vice President Aminul Momin Pintu, Vice President Mujahidul Islam Palash Mondal, Chandanbaisha Union BNP President Kudrati Khoda Chan Mia, Qutubpur Union BNP President Mohidul Islam, Chalubabari Union BNP General Secretary Adv. Mostafizur Rahman Bakul, Karnibari Union BNP General Secretary Mokhlesur Rahman Sona, Upazila Sramik Dal General Secretary Asaduzzaman Khokon, Upazila Swechchhasebak Dal Joint Convener Masudur Rahman Ribon, and other leaders and activists of Upazila, Municipal, Union BNP and affiliated organizations were also present.
