Victory rally held at the initiative of the district BNP. Leaders and activists of Netrakona District BNP and its affiliates gathered at the old Collectorate grounds with processions from various upazilas and unions. The district BNP organized this victory rally on Wednesday (August 6) afternoon as part of the central program to mark the anniversary of the historic mass uprising of the student population (August 5). Netrakona District BNP Convener Professor Dr. Md. Anwarul Haque presided over the rally presided over by Member Secretary Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam Hilali. Former President of District BNP, former MP, freedom fighter Ashraf Uddin Khan, Senior Joint Convener of District BNP Advocate Mahfuzul Haque, Former General Secretary of District BNP Alhaj Abu Taher Talukder, Joint Convener of District BNP Mujibur Rahman Khan, Tajezul Islam Faras Sujat, Bazlur Rahman Pathan, SM Moniruzzaman Dudu, Former Organizing Secretary of District BNP SM Shafiqul Quader Suja, etc. addressed the rally. Speakers at the rally said that the fascist Hasina government has been overthrown through a historic mass uprising by the student population. They also called on everyone to remain vigilant and united so that fascist Hasina cannot return to the country one day. Later, the victory rally left the open courtyard at the old Collectorate grounds, circled various important roads in the district town, and ended at the Collectorate premises again.
