On the occasion of the first anniversary of the July Mass Uprising and the celebration of the July Renaissance Program-2025, a discussion meeting and cultural program were held at Jawa Bazar Degree College.
On Tuesday, August 5th, at 10:00 a.m., the event took place at the college auditorium under the chairmanship of Acting Principal Shibbir Ahmad and was conducted by Lecturer Dulal Mia.
The welcome speech was delivered by Assistant Professor Mohammad Arosh Ali, representing the teachers. Among others who spoke at the event were: donor member of the college ad-hoc committee Samsul Kabir Muhit, Vice Principal Monishankar Bhowmik, Assistant Professor Joya Dhar Ruby, Bilkis Sultana, Samor Kumar Sarkar, Neel Madhab Singh, Shyama Prasad Dash, Soma Chakraborty, Mohammad Mujibur Rahman, Lecturer Nipa Rani Dutta, Mrityunjay Dash, Suman Khan, Sharmin Sultana, Md. Dilshan Khan, Ajay Sarkar and Gausul Haque Naeem.
Also present at the occasion were Lecturer Pulak Chandra Bishwas, Md. Shahab Uddin, Mahbub Islam, Iqbal Hossain, Sarwar Jahan Mamun, Assistant Librarian Mst. Munmun Begum and Physical Education Teacher Md. Lutfur Rahman among others.
The discussion meeting commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Habibur Rahman, a first-year degree student.
