Tania, the women’s coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement in Chittagong, has been accused of embezzling 8 million taka from a businessman.
This controversy was originally sparked by a video that went viral on social media.
In the video, coordinator Tania is seen exchanging words with two other people at a restaurant about financial transactions. At one point in the conversation, coordinator Tania forbade video recording. Later, a person present at the scene is heard saying. If we take 8 million taka from someone, give them at least 80 checks. They gave you money at that place without any proof. Now, if you have proof to take the money, there is no problem. In response, Tania is heard saying, “I told you on the 1st…” Later, Tania were heard saying that they harassed me about this in front of Jamuna as well.

After searching, it was learned that the transaction in the video was actually taken by coordinator Tania from a businessman, who promised to get a tender. But later he could not do the work, if she was supposed to return the money, but now she is not returning the money.
Tania, the daughter of Sandip, Dwip district, currently lives in Halishahar, Chittagong city.

Although the former leaders of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Chittagong were called to talk about this issue, no one received it. It is worth noting that this organization, which led the July movement by abolishing all committees except the central committee of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement on July 28.
