A day-long free medical campaign was held in the area adjacent to Longlaipara Army Camp under the supervision of Bandarban Region and with the overall support of Bandarban Army Zone.The camp conducted under the overall supervision of the Bandarban Army Region’s team of specialist doctors is a program organized on the occasion of the July Rejuvenation.

The army provides medical services and free medicines to the residents of this camp,who have traveled arduously from various neighborhoods in the surrounding mountainous areas and deep forests.The Bandarban Army Zone confirmed the matter in a press release on Monday (28 July). Medical services were provided to 153 residents of the neighborhood including women,men and children.

The press release stated that specialist doctors provide free health advice and necessary medicines to patients suffering from various skin diseases,dental problems, gynecological complications and general physical problems.Major M.M. Yasin Aziz, Commander of the Roangchhari Sub-Zone was present during the medical campaign. Under his supervision,the army’s expert doctors provided medical services with utmost sincerity and professionalism.

The Longlaipara Army Camp Commander and the assigned army personnel performed their duties with great efficiency to ensure the overall security of this campaign.
