The play of drone show across the sky. Various names and symbols including ‘Shapla Massacre’ and ‘Awaz Utha’ floated. The story of courage and struggle of July emerged through light and shadow. The main event of the event organized on the occasion of ‘July Resurgence’ ended with a drone show at the Chittagong District Stadium at 11 pm on Wednesday.

The day-long event was organized by the Chittagong District Administration. The first phase of the event included remembrance of martyrs, song and documentary screening. The second phase included the much-discussed drone show.

The event was attended by Faruk-e-Azam, Honorable Advisor to the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs and the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Bir Pratik and Honorable Advisor to the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Mr. Mostafa Sarwar Faruki.

The cultural program featured a screening of July films, and patriotic songs were performed by Untitled, Bay of Bengal, rapper Hannan, Elita Karim, Parsha Mahzabin and many others.

Then, a fascinating drone show using about 2,200 drones depicted the July Uprising and the contributions of the martyrs.

Secretary of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Mr. Md. Mofidur Rahman, Chittagong Divisional Commissioner Dr. Md. Ziauddin, Deputy Commissioner Farida Khanam, respected members of the families of the martyrs of the July Movement, and officials of the Deputy Commissioner’s office were present at the program.
