Village Police Conference-2025 organized by Gopalganj District Administration

The Village Police Conference-2025 was held in Gopalganj at the initiative of the district administration. Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate (Joint Secretary) Muhammad Kamruzzaman was present as the chief guest at the conference organized at the conference room of Gopalganj Shilpakala Academy on Saturday (July 12). At the village police conference, the chief guest, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Kamruzzaman, instructed the village police to properly carry out the responsibilities entrusted to them with honesty and devotion and said, “If we analyze the contribution of your work in the history of Bangladesh, it can be understood that you have been, are and will be.” Every village police is known as a highly trusted, efficient, trained and hardworking force of the government. That is why the government always has confidence in the village police. He commented that you are working like a pillar in each ward of the 67 union parishads of Gopalganj district. The village police conference held under the chairmanship of Deputy Director (Retd) of Gopalganj Local Government Department Md. Golam Kabir was attended as special guests by Superintendent of Police Md. Mizanur Rahman, Additional District Magistrate S. M. Tarek Sultan, Gopalganj District Ansar and VDP Commandant (BVMS) Mojibul Haque, Additional Superintendent of Police Dr. Md. Ruhul Amin Sarkar, and Gopalganj Sadar Upazila Executive Officer M. Rakibul Hasan. All village police officers working in 67 unions of the district participated in this village police conference. At that time, Muksudpur Upazila Executive Officer Tasnim Akhter, Tungipara Upazila Executive Officer Farzana Akhter, Kotalipara Upazila Executive Officer (retd) Masum Billah, Kashiani Upazila Executive Officer (retd) Munmun Pal, NDC Ronti Poddar, RDC Russell Munshi, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Mohammad Ataur Rahman, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate SM Amirul Mostafa, Gopalganj Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mir Mohammad Sajedur Rahman, Muksudpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mustafa Kamal, Kashiani Police Station (OC) Kamal Hossain, Tungipara Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Khorshed Alam, and media personnel working in various print and electronic media in the district were present.
