Bangladesh Legal and Human Rights Services Foundation announces 31-member central committee

The Central Committee of Bangladesh Legal and Human Rights Services Foundation was announced on Wednesday, 09/07/2025. The organization’s advisor, Justice Sikder Maqbul Haque, announced the 31-member Central Committee at the organization’s central office at 14 Court House Street, Dhaka. The committee’s term is 2 years. The committee was announced with Supreme Court lawyer Ibreem Khalil Majumder as the Chairman and Supreme Court lawyer Md. Shahrif Hossain as the Secretary General. The others are Senior Vice Chairman, prominent businessman Md. Rabiul Islam Robi, Supreme Court lawyer Md. Faruk Hossain as joint secretary, lecturer Sabrina Sultana, Assistant Secretary General, Organizing Secretary, Md. Ilias Akand, Md. Jasim Uddin Kajal, Organizing Secretary (2), distinguished cultural personality Dhali Md. Delwar as Social Welfare Secretary, Cultural Secretary: Mini Khan, Women’s Affairs Secretary: Sonia Bhuiyan, Publicity Secretary-Md. Kazi Jamal Hossain, Religious Affairs Secretary: Mufti Jamal Uddin, Relief and Disaster Affairs Secretary: Md. Arif Noor, Human Rights Affairs Secretary: Bilkis Sultana, Labor Affairs Secretary: Sramik Abdul Malek, Finance Secretary: Advocate Salma Begum, Mofussal Secretary: Md. Jonayed Ahmed, Office Secretary: Advocate Rahat Bin Basar, other members are Md. Amir Ali Fakir, Md. Jewel Mahmud, Md. Zahirul Islam Chowdhury, M, M Rana, Abdullah Al-Mamun, Md. Mannan Bepari, Nilima Nazma, M.M Rahman, Md. Hasan, Md. Iftekhar Bin Karn, Shirin Akhter, Md. Anwar Hossain and Irin Akhter. This organization has been providing free legal aid to helpless people since 2009. All the members have pledged to make this legal aid more effective in the future. This organization is always vocal in establishing justice and human rights.
