District administration in Ctg is facing an embarrassing situation around Pahela Boishakh

The district administration has informed the Pahela Boishakh celebration committee on mobile phones not to clear the stage of 20 organizations with the “Awami League’s Dosar” tag.

    Around   55      organizations       have registered their names here for cultural performances.

The incident of vandalism in the evening, the negotiations between the district administration and the organizing committee, all of which have created fear in the minds of the common people of the city.

However, in a statement issued by the Chittagong district administration at night, it was said that the overall situation is under control and the program scheduled by the district administration at the Chittagong Shilpakala Academy will be completed on time. In addition, Boishakh will be celebrated at various places including the city’s CRB.

Meanwhile, as of the last news, the Kotwali police station has arrested six people in connection with the vandalism, and interrogation is underway to find out who is behind it.

However, the program celebration committee has said that if there is a complaint against any person, he will not be allowed to take the stage, but no organization can be stopped.

A member of the celebration committee told thedailymorningglory that earlier, they faced various difficulties in organizing the program at DC Hill, even though they sought permission till 7 pm, the district administration instructed them to finish it by 4 pm.

Earlier in the morning, an organization called Sammilita Bangla Nababarsh Udjapan Mancha formed a human chain in front of the district administration office. This human chain and memorandum submission program was held in protest of the ‘organization of the Bengali New Year celebration program led by fascist Hasina’s identified friends’. The program was originally organized by the Jatiyatabadi Samajik Sangstrikt Sangstha (JASAS), an affiliate organization of BNP. In the memorandum submitted to the District Commissioner, it was demanded to ban these organizations from the New Year’s celebration program.

The organizations include Udichi Shilpi Gosthi, Bodhan Avriti Parishad, Prama Avriti Sangstha, Naren Avriti Academy, Khelaghar, Raktakarabi, Odissi and Tagore Dance Movement, School of Oriental Dance, Ghungur Nritya Academy.
