Shamsuzzaman Samu spoke as the chief guest at the Doa and Iftar Mahfil program at the Munshipara Keramatia High School grounds in the city after Asr. The special guests were Rangpur Bar Association General Secretary and Rangpur Metropolitan BNP Convening Committee member Adv. Aftab Uddin, Rangpur Metropolitan Women’s Party President Adv. Rebecca Sultana Fency, Rangpur District Jubo Dal Acting General Secretary Md. Zillor Rahman James, Rangpur Metropolitan BNP Convening Committee member Md. Selim Chowdhury, Dr. Nikhilendra Sankar Guhrai. Ward 18 BNP convener Kazi Md. Adam Penon, former councilor Maqbul Hossain, journalist Saiful Islam, prominent contractor Shafiqul Islam Mithu, BNP leaders Saiful Sarkar Sampu, Abu Ali Mithu, Korban Sikder Apel, Joint Secretary of the Bar Association Advocate AKM Harun Ur Rashid, Hasanuzzaman Sarkar, Ubaidul Rahman Ratan, Hamidul Islam and other leaders were present at the time.
