Iftar and prayer mahfil was organized by Bishwamberpur Samiti, Sunamganj. The event took place on Saturday evening at Pansi Restaurant in Sunamganj town. The program was presided over by Advocate Taiyabur Rahman Babul, President of Bishwamberpur Samiti, Sunamganj, and conducted by Joint General Secretary Lecturer Dulal Mia. The chief guest at the event was Abdul Kaiyum Master, Advisor of Bishwamberpur Samiti, Sunamganj. Special guests who addressed the gathering included Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Swapan, Director of Sunamganj Sadar Hospital, Mufti Abdul Haque, Abul Kalam Azad, President of Tahirpur Kalyan Samiti, Sunamganj, and Advisors of Bishwamberpur Samiti—Advocate Alam Nur Hira, Md. Mohibur Rahman, Nurul Islam, and CA Tofazzul Hossain Babul. The welcome speech was delivered by Morol Masud Zaman Liton, General Secretary of Bishwamberpur Samiti, Sunamganj. Among others who spoke at the event were Mohammad Tajul Islam, Vice President of Bishwamberpur Samiti, Sunamganj, and N.D. Uthman Gani, President of Bishwamberpur Student Welfare Council. The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Sheikh Ahmad Shafi. The prayer session was led by Hazrat Maulana Ali Nur. Other notable attendees included Bishwamberpur Samiti, Sunamganj’s Vice President Maulana Abdul Malek, Joint General Secretary Md. Jahinur Mia, Organizational Secretary Shah Alam, Assistant Organizational Secretary Sheikh Abdul Gaffar, Finance Secretary Sergeant (Retd.) Ziaur Rahman, Office Secretary Abdul Mannan, Sports and Cultural Secretary Selim Ahmed, Women and Children Affairs Secretary Mst. Hajera Khatun, Executive Members Md. Shawkat Hossain, Md.
