The biennial election of the Netrakona District Press Club was held on Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm in a festive atmosphere at the District Press Club auditorium. Zahid Hasan was elected as the vice-president and M. Kibria Chowdhury Helim was elected as the general secretary. It is learned that 62 out of 65 voters exercised their right to vote in the district press club elections. In the election, Vice-President candidate Zahid Hasan, General Secretary candidate M. Kibria Chowdhury Helim, Joint Secretary Nazmush Shahadat Naju, Information Technology Secretary Md. Anisur Rahman, Khalilur Rahman Sheikh Iqbal, Bhajan Das, Abul Hossain Talukder and Shyamlendu Pal were elected as members. The results were announced by Advocate Aminul Islam Khan, a respected member of the District Press Club, as the Election Commissioner.
