Son-in-law Sentu Ghosh returns dead after visiting father-in-law’s house in Sirajdikhan

Son-in-law Sentu Ghosh (40) died in a motorcycle accident while visiting his father-in-law’s house in Sirajdikhan, Munshiganj. Friend Prosenjit Ghosh (32) was injured in the incident. The accident occurred around 12:30 pm on Saturday in the Lalbari area of ​​the Sirajdikhan-Ichhapura road in the upazila. The deceased, Sentu Ghosh, was the son of Subhash Ghosh of Koilail village in Koilail union of Nawabganj upazila of Dhaka district and the son-in-law of Ranjit Ghosh’s daughter in Santoshpara village in Rashunia union of Sirajdikhan upazila. The victim, Prosenjit, lives in Ruhitpur village under Keraniganj police station in Dhaka district. According to police and locals, Sentu Ghosh and his friend Prosenjit Ghosh (32) were on their way to Ichhapura from Sirajdikhan on a motorcycle on Saturday afternoon when the motorcycle collided head-on with a battery-powered auto-rickshaw coming from the opposite direction in the area called Lalbari. Sentu Ghosh and Prosenjit Ghosh were seriously injured. Later, when locals rescued him and took him to the Upazila Health Complex, the doctor on duty declared Sentu Ghosh dead and referred his friend Prosenjit Ghosh to Dhaka for better treatment. Dr. Sultana Nasrin, a physician at the emergency department of the Upazila Health Complex, said, Two patients seriously injured in a motorcycle accident arrived at noon. One of them died before being brought to the hospital. Another person was referred to Dhaka because his condition was serious. Shahed Al Mamun, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sirajdikhan Police Station, said that the deceased’s family has no complaints and that the deceased’s family has taken the body from the hospital to their home.
