One arrested with Phensedyl in Louhjang

RAB-10 has arrested a drug dealer with 23 bottles of Phensidyl from Haldia in Louhajang Upazila of Munshiganj. The motorcycle used to transport the drugs has also been seized. On March 1 at 5:30 pm, an operational team of RAB-10 conducted a raid in the Haludiya Bazar area of Louhajang Police Station in Munshiganj district based on secret information. During the operation, RAB-10 arrested a drug dealer named Md. Barek Molla (35) while he was carrying drugs on a motorcycle. One drug dealer was arrested along with 23 (twenty-three) bottles of Phensidyl worth an estimated market value of 69,000/- (seventy-nine thousand) taka. The arrested drug dealer is known to be named Md. Barek Mollah* (35), father- Md. Jalal Mollah, son- Madan Morlakandi, police station- Shibchar, district- Madaripur. At that time, the motorcycle used to transport drugs was seized from them. RAB’s initial interrogation revealed that the arrested person is a professional drug dealer. For some time now, he had been illegally collecting phensidyl and other narcotics from various border areas of the country and supplying them to various areas of the country, including Louhajang in Munshiganj district, on seized motorcycles. A drug case has been registered against the arrested person at the Louhajang Police Station.
