National Voters Day was celebrated in Kumarkhali, Kushtia with the theme ‘Yours is my Bangladesh, I will vote together’.
On Sunday (March 3), at 10:00 am, a colorful rally was held under the chairmanship of Kushtia Kumarkhali Upazila Election Officer Shirina Akhter Banu, followed by a grand inauguration and discussion meeting. SM Mikail Islam, Upazila Executive Officer Kumarkhali, was present as the chief guest.
Ferdous Nazneen, Upazila Women’s Affairs Officer, Mst. Zahura Khanam, Upazila Cooperative Officer, and others were present as special guests.
In addition, government officials, employees, heads of various institutions and leaders of civil society were present. New voters were enrolled at the end of the program.
