National Voters’ Day celebrated in Jamalpur

National Voters’ Day was celebrated in Jamalpur with the theme “In your own Bangladesh, I will vote together.” The district administration and the district election office organized colorful rallies and discussion meetings to mark the day. A rally started from Fauzdari More on Sunday (March 2) morning and ended at the Deputy Commissioner’s office. Later, a discussion meeting was organized there. The meeting was addressed by Deputy Commissioner Hasina Begum, Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Masud Anwar, District Election Officer Shaniazzaman Talukder, District BNP General Secretary Wares Ali Mamun, District Jamaat Ameer Maulana Muhammad Abdus Sattar and other administration officials.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Sarbik Iftekhar Yunus, Additional District Election Officer Muhammad Humayun Kabir, District Jubo Dal convener Shafiqul Islam Khan, Sajeeb Islami Andolan Bangladesh Jamalpur District Branch President Mufti Mustafa Kamal and many others were present at the time. At the time, the speakers said – What the people of Bangladesh want from this government is a free, fair, and impartial election. And everyone is ready to make such an election. I will give my vote to whoever I want, there will be no opportunity for one person to vote for another. The meeting also urged adults to vote at the right time.
