Patenga Model Police Station conducted a raid and arrested the remaining 10 accused within 24 hours in connection with the incident of beating up a policeman and stealing items at Patenga Sea Beach in the city.

Under the overall guidance of Badrul Alam Molla, DC of Port Division of CMP, and under the supervision of Sohel Parvez, ADC of CMP (Port) and Jamal Uddin Chowdhury, Assistant Police Commissioner (Karnaphuli Zone), Patenga Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge  Shafiqul Islam, along with SI  Saidul Islam, SI Sekantar Mia, SI Belayet Hossain and allied forces,
conducted a raid in the Panchlaish Police Station area of ​​Chittagong Metropolitan City on 2 March and arrested the gang of robbers (1) Ganapati (57), (2) Hamidur Rahman (30), (3) Rohan (20), (4) Arif Prathani (35), (5) Rabbi (35), (6) Shuvo (19), (7) Jiban (26), (8) Rumel (30), (9) Rezaul Karim. (45) and (10) Siam Sheikh (18) were arrested. They are being sent to the court.
