The anti- discrimination student movement organized a press conference protesting violence and oppression of women at Joypurhat Press Club. Convernor of the new committee Hasbil Haque Sanzid delivered the main speech. At the end of the press conference, they announced the names of new committee members, approved by Hasnat Abdullah. On the other hand, those deprived of position in new committee announced the committee has become one-sided. They formed a human chain at local Shaheed Dr Abul Qushem Maidan accusing it of being one-sided committee. Finally, they declared the committee undesirable.
In the press conference convener Hasbil Haque Sanzid, member secretary Mubasshir Ali Shihab, senior joint secretary Nayamur Rahman Nibir, joint member secretary Mobasher Hossain and chief organizer Ehsan Ahmed Nahid were present.
On the other hand, in human chain formation program student representatives Borhan Uddin, Ashraful Islam, Mohammad Sakli, Rakib Hasan, Shahni Alam, Naeem Hossain, Sabuj Hossain and others were present at Shaheed Dr Abul Qashem Maidan.
