An awareness meeting on safe water supply, sanitation and hygiene was held among secondary level students of educational institutions in different areas of Naogaon Sadar Upazila.

This afternoon, the BRAC WASH program organized an information meeting at the Sadar Upazila Conference Room. Naogaon Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Md. Ibnul Abedin was present as the chief guest. BRAC District Coordinator Swapan Kumar Mistry, BRAC WASH Program District Coordinator Md. Sajjad Hossain, Technical Officer Md. Yasir Arafat, Program Organizer Md. Mahabub Mia, Shantana Bairagi, Umme Kulsum, and various school and madrasa headmasters and officials from various government offices were present at the meeting.

The meeting raised awareness about safe water supply, sanitation and hygiene, and discussed women’s menstrual health safety.
