District BNP has held a rally in Bandarban demanding keeping the price increase of essential commodities at a tolerable level, improving the deteriorating law and order situation, and announcing a quick electoral roadmap.
The rally was held at Rajar Maidan in Bandarban city on Sunday (February 23) afternoon. The rally was chaired by district BNP convener Sachingpru Jerry and the party’s joint secretary general Habib Un-Nabi Khan Sohel was the chief guest.
The special guests were Ma Mae Ching, Tribal Affairs Secretary of the National Executive Committee, Mahbuber Rahman Shamim, Organizing Secretary, Harun Or Rashid, Co-Organizing Secretary, and Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin.
The rally, moderated by Bandarban District BNP Member Secretary Md. Jabed Reza, featured speakers highlighting various public demands, including confronting the various conspiracies of the fallen state’s fascism. Thousands of leaders, activists and a large number of people from seven upazilas of the district, including hill and Bengali ethnic groups, participated in it.
