BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has already announced a 31-point state structure on how the state will be reformed and how it will become a role model for development. We will deliver it to the people. We will work to gain the people’s trust. We must prove that the ear of rice is a symbol of peace. There is no alternative to grains of rice to bring about the security of the people, the prosperity of the country, and true democracy. He also said that the former MP, the godfather of terrorists, Gazi, occupied the land of hundreds of farmers in the Ichhapura area of Rupganj Union and built a boundary. His son Pappa Gazi was a supporter of terrorists. Where are they now? Where have their friends gone? All are now without a region, without a country. We do not want to be like those terrorists. We will work to return the lost wealth of the people. We must be vigilant so that foreign terrorists never again come and stand tall in Rupganj. There is no place for terrorists on the soil of Rupganj. Dipu Bhuiyan also said that under Section 13/A, plots in Purbachal have been given to Sheikh Hasina in the names of her family, the president of the Faridpur Chhatra League, her fellow terrorists, MPs, ministers and bureaucrats. The residents of Purbachal were supposed to be given 5 katha plots against 17 percent. But even the owner of 20 bighas of land did not get a 5-katha plot. The bureaucrats and laborers of the Awami League government have divided it up. He called for canceling all those plots and allocating plots in the names of the affected and indigenous people. Earlier, thousands of leaders and activists gathered at the rally site in groups to march in the event. Later, the rally officially began at 4 pm.
