The authorities of Netrokona Government College organized an inaugural ceremony to launch a bus service for students. On Wednesday morning, the bus service was officially inaugurated as the chief guest by Professor Dr. Md. Anwarul Haque, the convener of the district BNP and a prominent orthopedic physician, under the chairmanship of Professor Md. Abu Taher Khan, Principal of Netrokona Government College, and moderated by Professor Idris Ali. Former district BNP president and former member of parliament, freedom fighter Ashraf Uddin Khan, was present as a special guest. Among others who spoke at the event were Government College Vice Principal Abdul Qadir Fakir, former District BNP Vice President Imran Khan Chowdhury, All-Union Organizing Secretary SM Shafiqul Quader Shuja, District BNP Joint Convener Md. Mujibur Rahman Khan, Tajezul Islam Faras Shujat, SM Moniruzzaman Dudu, District Press Club Member Secretary M Kibria Chowdhury Helim, District Jubo Dal Former Senior Vice President Abdullah Al Mamun Khan Roni, District Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary Mahbubur Rahman, Assistant Secretary Masum Mostafa, District Chhatra Dal Acting President Sarwar Alam Lelin, General Secretary Anik Mahabub Chowdhury, Government College Branch Chhatra Dal President Abul Kalam, Member Secretary of Netrokona Government College Branch of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Ashraful Alam Apurba, among others.
