A rally was held at the initiative of Union BNP in Rupganj, Narayanganj on Saturday afternoon to implement the 31-point plan to repair the state structure announced by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. Abu Mohammad Masum, former senior vice-president of Narayanganj District Chhatra Dal, presided over the rally organized at the Kazi Abdul Hamid High School grounds in the upazila. BNP National Executive Committee member and freedom fighter Kazi Moniruzzaman Monir was present as the chief guest. Present at the rally were – former Narayanganj District BNP convener Nasir Uddin, joint convener Sharif Ahmed Tutul, former president of District Jubo Dal and Chhatra Dal Mosharraf Hossain, convener of District Swechchhasebak Dal Mahabubur Rahman, former joint general secretary of Chhatra Dal central committee Mahfuzur Rahman, vice president of District Jubo Dal Amirul Islam Emon, organizing secretary of Zia Mancha Abdul Halim, president of District Krishak Dal Dr. Shaheen, former councilor of Kanchan Municipality Hamidul Haque Khan, former member secretary of Tarab Municipality BNP Zakir Hossain Ripon, BNP leaders Anwar Hossain Bhuiyan, Masud Babul, Kazi Ahad, Azim Sarkar, Md. Sohel Mia, Sultan Mahmud, Ali Ahmed, Maksudul Hasan Matin, Mashiur Rahman Tipu, Afzal Hossain Azad, Shahed Prodhan, Hafez Zakaria, Judge Mia, Alam Khan, Jasim Uddin Joy, Hawa Begum, Romana Afrin, Azaharul Islam, Kazi Kamal, Momen Mia, Arif Hasan, Shahida Akhter, Saidur Rahman, Mofizul Islam, Mahabub Hossain, Mazaharul Islam Ratan and many others. The chief guest at the meeting, freedom fighter Kazi Moniruzzaman Monir, said that Rupganj Upazila BNP and its affiliates are working to implement the 31-point ideology of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman and the state structure of Tarique Rahman. Rupganj BNP will remain in the field until this demand is implemented. We know how to fight, we fought and liberated the country in 1971. President Abu Mohammad Masum said at the event that the leaders and activists of Rupganj Upazila BNP and its affiliated organizations are united under the leadership of freedom fighter Kazi Moniruzzaman to implement the 31-point plan announced by Tarique Rahman. He called on all the leaders and activists of Rupganj Union BNP to remain united and carry out all the party’s programs. Thousands of leaders and activists were present at the rally.
