Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that Sheikh Hasina wants to create a heated atmosphere by inciting people within the country even after fleeing.

Freedom-loving people will not tolerate this. The responsibility for the current situation in the country as a result of provocation lies entirely with the provocateur.

If we come to power, women will be able to work with maximum safety and dignity, both inside and outside the home.

The interim government must bring back all the money that Sheikh Hasina and other Awami League leaders and activists have stolen, looted, and smuggled abroad. That money must be spent on the development of the people.

He also said that the people of Narayanganj have been suffering a lot for so long.

This Narayanganj was made the capital of terrorism.

The Ameer of our Jamaat at that time was Ghulam Azam.

A godfather from this city had put up a 72-foot-long banner against him on the road in Narayanganj.

It was written that Golam Azam was prohibited from entering Narayanganj.

In the presence of the DC and SP, godfather Shamim Osman said, “Keep filing a murder case against me.”

But in the end, Ghulam Azam Sahib died as a victim of government oppression.

Didn’t Godfather get a chance? Where is he today? Isn’t he in Narayanganj? Such arrogance is not good.

Arrogance is not good.

Terrorism should never be tolerated. Then one has to suffer its tragic consequences in this world. Besides, in the Hereafter, he will be crucified. Which will be a great pit of fire. So I say, repent. Be human like a human.

He made these remarks while addressing a public meeting organized by the district and metropolitan Jamaat-e-Islami at the Osmani Municipal Stadium in Narayanganj at 11:30 am on Friday (February 7).

He said, this nation was divided for the last 54 years. And this division was created by the Awami League with good strategy. They started the division with the hill people. They declared, we are all Bengalis. But the hill people protested about this. This division that started since then is still ongoing. Peace has not been established there yet. They are now divided into different groups and are engaging in conflict among themselves. As long as this division continues, unity will not be created within this nation. Which the people of the country have witnessed for the last 53 years.

He further said, “A citizen of the country has the right to all rights. This is the main spirit of the Liberation War. Our society will be free from discrimination. The Awami League has destroyed all the constitutional institutions of the country. The Awami League has completely destroyed the administration and the judicial system.”

The meeting was presided over by Narayanganj Metropolitan Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Muhammad Abdul Jabbar. Also present were Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim, Dhaka Region South Central Executive Council member Saiful Alam Khan Milon, Islami Chhatra Shibir Central President Zahidul Islam, Dhaka Metropolitan South Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul, Dhaka Metropolitan North Ameer Selim Uddin, Central Executive Council member Mubarak Hossain, and others.
