A youth named Yakub (32) died after being electrocuted in Rupganj, Narayanganj. The incident took place on Wednesday (February 5) night near Haji Ayet Ali High School near Khadun area under Rupganj police station. The deceased Yakub is the son of Jamal Uddin of Khadun area of Rupganj. It is learned that Yakub fell to the ground after being electrocuted near Haji Ayet Ali High School near Khadun area under Rupganj police station at 1:30 am. Later, his relatives received the news and recovered the body and took it home. Later, the police went and prepared a post-mortem report on the body. Confirming the matter, Rupganj Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Altab Hossain said, “The police have visited the scene and prepared a post-mortem report.”
