On Saturday, January 25, over 200 underprivileged children and orphans were brought by bus from Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna and Rangpur for the purpose of visiting Cox’s Bazar. Durbar Tarunya Foundation has borne all the expenses of their travel, accommodation and food. During this time, the children in Cox’s Bazar were overwhelmed with joy and excitement.

On the second day of the visit, a pleasant cultural program was presented by journalists Sohag Arefin and Abu Adil, and Cox’s Bazar Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Salahuddin was present as the chief guest under the chairmanship of ‘Durbar Tarunya Foundation’ Chairman Muhammad Abu Abid. The program was inaugurated by Agragami Group Chairman Md. Golam Faruk Majnu.

Cox’s Bazar Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Salahuddin said, what Durbar Tarunya Foundation has done today is an incredible thing in humanitarian work. They have organized a wonderful event today. I keep myself involved in various social activities at different times. This event is definitely worthy of praise as it is exceptional. I am ready to work with Durbar Tarunya Foundation in any future work. I believe that they will set a great example in humanitarian work.

On behalf of the organizers, Durbar Tarunya Foundation Chairman Muhammad Abu Abid said, I wanted to give a message to the society through this project. We have only shown a path. If someone comes to visit Cox’s Bazar as a family, they should bring the housekeeper, doorman and driver. In his opening speech, Md. Golam Faruk Majnu said, I am not aware of any such program being organized for underprivileged children and orphans before. I am very happy to be present at such a great initiative of Durbar Tarunya Foundation today. We should all be involved in such work. These children are the future. I hope that Bangladesh will play a leading role in building by learning from the vastness of the sea.
