With the slogan “Struggle and courageous life, a mind full of honesty, revolution in the light of knowledge will be a new vitality”, the second phase of the ‘New Year Publication Exhibition and Sales Festival 25’ organized by Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir Chittagong Metropolitan North has begun.

On Sunday (January 26), at 3:30 pm, the stall of the six-day ‘New Year Publication Festival 25’ was inaugurated by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Chittagong Metropolitan Amir Alhaj Shahjahan Chowdhury in the area adjacent to Chittagong College in the city.

In his speech as the chief guest, Shah Jahan Chowdhury said that Chhatra Shibir has continued its activities for 18 long years despite various obstacles and dangers. During this long period, various attempts have been made to separate Chhatra Shibir from all student-friendly activities. The great Lord of the Worlds has shattered this conspiracy of theirs.

Stating that this publication exhibition and sale festival of Chhatra Shibir is an important means of knowledge dissemination, he said, “One of the biggest charities of Sadqa-e-Zaria is to distribute the knowledge of Islam among the people. Such an arrangement will play a role in exposing the youth to the light of education and leading them forward on the path of morality.”

Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir Chittagong Metropolitan North President Tanjir Hossain Jewel moderated the exhibition festival, and Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir Central Library Secretary Fakhrul Islam Babu, Chittagong Metropolitan North Secretary Mominul Haque, Organizing Secretary Khurram Murad, Publication Secretary Muhammad Aziz Uddin, Publicity and Media Secretary Siraji Manik, Touhidul Islam and other leaders spoke.

At the time, the speakers said, “This publication exhibition is an important step towards bringing the people of the country out of the practice of ignorance.” Our main objective is to establish moral and religious values ​​through knowledge.

The stall has various educational materials including teen magazines, calendars, science and research series, and Islamic literature for display and sale. The exhibition will run from 9 am to 9 pm every day until January 31.
