A Quran recitation and prayer mahfil was held to pray for the speedy recovery and recovery of Md. Lutfuzzaman Babar, a two-time former member of parliament from Netrokona-4 (Madan-Mohanganj-Khaliajuri) constituency and former State Minister for Home Affairs.
This Quran recitation and prayer mahfil was held at the Central Hafezia Madrasa of Challisha Union in Netrokona Sadar Upazila at 10 am on Tuesday (January 21) to pray for the recovery and long life of Lutfuzzaman Babar.
On the personal initiative of Md. Anwar Hossain Badshah, Vice President of Bangladesh Nationalist Chhatra Dal Netrokona District Branch, a Quran recitation and a prayer meeting were held with the students of Hafezia Madrasa.
At the prayer mahfil, Madrasa Director Hafez Maulana Md. Sharif Uddin offered a special prayer for the speedy recovery of former State Minister for Home Affairs Lutfuzzaman Babar and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
