Salary complications in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) are not a new phenomenon. However, after taking charge as (BCB) president, Farooq Ahmed announced that cricketers will not be able to make any complaints about their salaries.

But in the first phase and Sylhet phase in Dhaka, cricketers of several franchises were secretly grumbling about the salary issue. This time it took a big shape. BPL newcomer team Durbar Rajshahi canceled today’s practice because the cricketers did not receive their salaries.

In view of the cricketers’ demands, the Rajshahi team management gave 25 percent salary checks to local cricketers. But the cricketers were angry because the checks bounced.
