Md. Saiful Islam Santu has been appointed as the Superintendent of Police of Chittagong. Before, SP Rahan uddin Khan was responsible for  Chittagong.
New Superins of Police have been appointed in four districts of the country including Chittagong. The districts are Chittagong, Tangail, Dinajpur and Natore.
The newly appointed current SP of Chittagong was previously the Superintendent of Police of Tangail.
This appointment was made in a notification signed by Abu Sayeed, Deputy Secretary of Police-1 Branch of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs, on Monday (December 30) by the President.
Earlier the notice was he should on 11 December 2024.
Tangail superintendent of police 
Md. Saiful Islam santu 
has been made the SP of 
Chittagong dristrict. 
He was given this responsibility by canceling the order of Abu Sayem Pradhan.
Earlier, when Morning Glory’s Chittagong Bureau called ” Abu Sayem Pradhan’s mobile number in this regard, his wife received the call, and then he gave an indication that there was a possibility that he would not come to Chittagong as the new SP.
