3-days annual Waz Mahfil of Charmonai Pir ended with the final prayer at the Polo Ground in Chittagong. During the prayer, Charmonai Pir Saheb Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim prayed for the peace of the country for the people of all walks of life. Earlier, a roundtable meeting was held with various political parties at the initiative of the Islamic Movement of Bangladesh to stop Indian aggression on the premises of the mahfil last Friday.

Where Sarjis Alam, the chief organizer of the Citizens’ Committee, the Ameer of the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Chittagong Metropolitan Branch and other important people participated and expressed their important opinions. Earlier on the inaugural day, Pir Saheb said in his speech, the countrymen expect to see a beautiful Bangladesh under the interim government after the mass uprising. We participated in the movement with people of all walks of life at the risk of our lives.

Referring to the election, he said, “All murderers, money launderers abroad, and corrupt people, including Hasina, must be tried. After completing the trial, reforms will be followed by elections. There is no reason to be restless about the elections.”
In addition, numerous renowned scholars of the country will hold a three-day long grand waz mahfil. Religious people from different parts of the country participate in this mahfil.
