Last Saturday (December 21), the influential woman went to the land again with Kotwali police station’s SI Mostafizur Rahman. At that time, her people broke down the tin wall in the presence of the police and called both parties to the police station at 12 noon yesterday, Sunday with the land documents. According to her, when the helpless widow Sandhya Rani Das and her children went to the police station at 12 noon yesterday, Sunday, the influential woman on the other side said, “I did not bring any papers, please give me time.” The SI police, as he said, asked the helpless people to leave the police station and took the land documents from them. In this incident, the helpless family held a press conference at their ancestral home. At the press conference, Sanjay Kumar Das said, our land was forcibly occupied by Helena Begum, the wife of Habibur Rahman, who was elected as MP twice from Gaibandha. At that time, under the influence of Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi, Speaker Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury, the police and local councilors and their people forcibly occupied our house. At that time, they sent me to jail. The land of which is located in District-Rangpur, Thana-Kotwali Metro, Mouza-Satgara, JL No.-94, Dag No. Former-3901, 4119, Hal Dag No.-11153, the land area is two and a half hundred. Currently, we are suffering from insecurity. Yesterday, Sunday, Helena Begum told everyone at the RPMP Kotwali police station that this is the property I bought. I have not occupied anyone’s land. Ataur Rahman, officer-in-charge of the RPMP Kotwali police station, said, “I have no knowledge about the land.”
