Superintendent of Police holds meeting with Christian community on Christmas Day

A meeting of the Superintendent of Police with leaders of the Christian community was held on the occasion of the upcoming Christmas Day. The meeting was held on Thursday (December 19) at 11:00 AM in the conference room of his office under the chairmanship of Superintendent of Police (SP) Mr. Md. Mizanur Rahman.
Representatives of various churches in the district presented their respective views in the meeting. In his speech, the Superintendent of Police said that the district police will provide overall security on the occasion of the upcoming Christmas Day. In addition, they discussed various issues related to maintaining communal harmony on the upcoming holy Christmas Day, including maintaining law and order.
The Superintendent of Police asked the concerned police station and police control room to be informed as soon as possible if there is any chaos or disruption in law and order during the Christmas Day festivities. He sought everyone’s cooperation to celebrate Christmas with enthusiasm. The Police Super thanked everyone present in the meeting and wished everyone a happy day and declared the meeting over.

Present at the meeting were Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) (promoted to the post of Superintendent of Police), Kushtia, Mr. Palash Kanti Nath, Police Inspector (Unarmed), DIO-1, DSB, Kushtia, Mr. Sheikh Obaidullah, Officer-in-Charge (OC) DB, Kushtia, Muradul Islam, senior police officials of the district, and Reverend Zaker ALi Shuva, General Secretary of Bangladesh Christian Association Kushtia District Branch, along with pastors and leaders of the Christian community.
