On the occasion of Great Victory Day-2024, discussion meeting,prize distribution of annual sports competition was held at Bandarban Government Children’s Family.
High-quality food is distributed among the residents around the day.On Monday (December 16) Victory Day was celebrated at the government children’s home premises in Kalaghata.

Bandarban hill district council Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Nazrul Islam was present as the chief guest.The function was presided over by Bhdc member and convenor of social service affairs convening committee May May Nue.Bhdc Member Khursida Ishaq,Deputy Director of District Social Service Office Milton Muhuri,Sadar Upazila Social Service Officer Sattyajit Majumder were present as special guests. Dance instructor Akinu Marma along with teachers and children’s families were present on the occasion.

Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal),district member of Bandarban Anti-Corruption Committee and sports organizer was present as an invited guest on the occasion.In this event,the importance and significance of the Great Victory Day was discussed.The contribution of millions of martyrs of the Great War of Liberation, including their sacrifices was remembered with deep respect.In this program,the guests said to the residents,we all will learn from history and we will use the new creative knowledge.We will not accept what is wrong.

We will accept what is true and fair so that the society and the country benefit.Calling to give utmost importance to Study the guests said that they should achieve good results by studying and should devote themselves to the service of the country with pride.At the beginning of the event,interesting physical exercises were performed.Also,prizes are distributed among the winners in various categories in annual sports competitions.
