New superintendent of police of Chittagong district is Md. Abu sayem Prodhan, before he was  responsible in Gaibandha Inservice Training Center.

A Secret Information said to Daily morning glory reporter that he is unlikely to join Chittagong.

Before that, SP Raihan Uddin Khan was responsible for Chittagong district. He was a police officer of Batch (BCS) 24.

New Superintendents of Police  have been appointed in 12 districts of the country.

12 police officers have been given the responsibility as Superintendents of Police in these districts.

The districts are Chittagong, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dinajpur, Barisal, Rajshahi, Gazipur, Manikganj, Gaibandha, Habiganj, Brahmanbaria and Naogaon.

This responsibility was given in a notification issued by the Police-1 branch of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday (December 11).

Deputy Secretary Abu Sayeed signed the notification on the order of the President.

The officers who have been given the responsibility —

Md. Abu Sayem Pradhan of Gaibandha Inservice Training Center has been given the responsibility of Superintendent of Police in Chittagong,
Md. Abu Sayem of Police Headquarters has been given the responsibility of Superintendent of Police in Rangpur district. Kazi Akhtar ul Alam of PBI has been given the responsibility of Superintendent of Police in Mymensingh, Md. Zakir Hossain of SB has been given the responsibility of Superintendent of Police in Dinajpur district.

Nishat Angela of APBN has been given the responsibility of Superintendent of Police in Gaibandha, Md. Aslam Shahzada of Dhaka Range DIG Office has been given the responsibility of Superintendent of Police in Habiganj district,
PBI’s Ehteshamul Haque has been given the responsibility of Superintendent of Police in Brahmanbaria and SB’s Mohammad Shafiul Sarwar has been given the responsibility of Superintendent of Police in Naoga district.

PBI’s Md. Sharif Uddin has been given the responsibility of Superintendent of Police in Barisal, SB’s Farzana Islam has been given the responsibility of Superintendent of Police in Rajshahi, Dr. Chowdhury Md. Jaber Sadek has been given the responsibility of Gazipur, while Mosammat Yasmin Khatun of the Anti-Terrorism Unit has been given the responsibility of Manikganj Police Superintendent.
