SAARC Human Rights Foundation,Women Activists Forum and Ananya Kalyan Sangathan (AKS) organized By World Human Rights Day in Bandarban.On Tuesday (December 10) candle lighting, discussion meeting was held at Ananya Center in Bandarban.Daw nai prue Naly the District President of SAARC Human Rights Foundation,Bandarban presided over the function.World Human Rights Day is being celebrated with the theme Our Rights, Our Future,right now.

District Corruption Prevention Committee President Aung Cha Mong,Christian Association General Secretary Lelung Khumi along with teachers,journalists, public representatives and representatives of civil society were present on the occasion.

Daw nai Prue Naly said that the disparity between the rich and the poor,the powerful and the powerless has not yet decreased.
Rather,it is increasing in many cases.We need to be more aware of this.It is not possible to protect human rights in public by just celebrating the day.Daw nai prue Naly Added Every citizen of all professions should be active in ensuring the human rights of the public.
