It is believed that the bombs are being dropped from the aircraft targeting the positions of the Arakan Army that has taken control of the city of Maungdaw. According to information provided by people in the border area, intense fighting is underway in the Ukilpara, Fayzipara, Sikdarpara, Haripara and Phatongja areas south of Maungdaw city. This war has been going on for more than a year and most of the areas of Rakhine State are now under the control of the Arakan Army. Where the Myanmar government forces are now attacking from the air. And on the ground, some armed groups of Rohingya have also started fighting against the Arakan Army. In Sabrang Union Parishad, Chairman Nur Hossain said that the sound of the explosion is coming from the villages south of Maungdaw city in Myanmar to Teknaf. The sound of mortar shells, powerful grenades and bombs is shaking the houses on the other side. No one on the border can even sleep at night. Residents saw warplanes circling in the Maungdaw area of Myanmar when the sound of the explosion was heard. He also said that the houses of the residents of Sabrang area are shaking due to the loud sound of the explosion. People are not able to sleep peacefully.
